Baltic and Polish parliaments support continuing TTIP negotiations


The chairmen of the Baltic and Polish parliaments’ European Union affairs committees agreed on a joint statement at a meeting in Tallinn on Friday, declaring that they supported the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiations between the European Union and the United States.

According to the chairman of the Riigikogu’s European Union Affairs Committee, Kalle Palling (Reform), Estonia supports the signing of TTIP, spokespeople for the Estonian parliament said. Palling also voiced his opinion that EU leaders should not simply abandon the talks.
